How To Sleep When You Are Supposed To Be Sleep

What do you do when you can’t get to sleep and you know you got to go to work in the morning? This in it self puts one in a very awkward position, can't sleep when you supposed to be sleep.. Which could possible mean being fire for falling a sleep on the job. At the end of this hub I will give conscientious, well thought out advise on how to get to sleep when you are supposed to be sleep.

Compunction

I am here before you today because I gave an answers to a question from another hubber posted in the question section. These may not be the exact words verbatim. But it was basically can’t seep, gotta go to work in the morning what should I do?. I gave a flippant answer. I kind of really smart mouthed it. And later felt bad about it. Because this is not my style . Compunction has led me to come seeking atonement. And to do a better job by reaching deeper into my wealth of God given knowledge. And to give sincere, honest advise that's not mediocre rubbish like pie in the sky to be used when you die, but good solid, valuable advise that is sound by the pound that can be used while you are still around. Here's how to get to sleep when you're supposed to be sleep, Especially if you need to be sharp, alert, energized and ready for a full day of work on your job in the morning.

Before Atonement Can Happen

Here's why my advise should have been a blade above the average run of the mill advise. My background as a Life Science Practitioner, consultant (D.Sc.,) has endowed me with a keen sense of understanding how the body function. You may ask, what the hell is a life science practitioner? Pardon, If you have never heard of such an animal, let me see what I can do to set you at ease before continuing on with my solicitation for Atonement. . In order to save you some time from Google it. It’s a very old antiqued, outdated, ancient title that is no longer in used any more. It connotes a body of knowledge that could not be obtain in the conventional education institutions of higher education. Its consecration is based in the study of the molecular structure of the body. With the objectives on to understand what's happening inside of the body starting at the interstitial cellular level. Which gives the practitioner keen analytical abilities to figure out maladies.

The Realm Of The Super Natural

A person is driven to seek such knowledge by an innate desire for health improvement. Some say the super natural plays a role in directing the seeker. Some say it's a higher level of consciousness that drives one to become a Doctor Of Life Science. Some simply say God called them to do it. A few of those that have gone before me reported they were once very sick and was deemed by conventional medical doctors to be doomed and could not be saved or healed. They refused to accept that prognosis. They analyzed their own sickness and healed themselves and went on to live to be over 100 yrs. old.

Massage Therapy For Drug-less Healing

Dr. Chopra turned to holistic drug-less healing which included a lot of massages everyday. He presented a very strong case to the possibility that the aging process of humans was flawed and to be a hoax. People die out of an ingrained habit, from seeing other people die. I am a witness to that assumption. Because I too am obsessed and possessed with a mixture of all of the same fervent desire as those who have gone before me and those who are still with us today. I concur 100% with my colleagues that all true healing must include diet change to a more plant base diet, to include certain foods mainly raw, to exclude certain foods mainly animal, to include certain exercises mainly yoga type exercises and to get massaged on a regularly basis. How To get To Sleep

Sleep is a natural occurrence as natural as the sun sets. It should under normal circumstances just natural happen. If its not happening for you when you need it to happen, and want it to happen, let that be a warming sign. First consider what you may be doing to hamper sleep. Read this article again ponder my words. Make corrections in your life. Second have some sleep aids on hand, we live in a chaotic world full of stress. A good sleep mask is a must to have in every home, especially so for mid day naps. A massage is a great sleep aid, its a passive exercise that slows the heart down, calms the body's glandular system and soothes the nerves.

Learn Massage First

However wonderful and beneficial massage, maybe, it has the uncanny ability to attract morons, idiots and unscrupulous sexually motivated persons, who know nothing about massage and could care less. I suggest learning massage, practice on friends and relatives, get familiar with massage before seeking out a massage therapist. The learning process is easy as 1,2,3. And it is physical and it has to be physical to be beneficial. I teach at Daley Community College here in Chicago. Let’s Move On

Now with that in mind, lets move on. The question was “what do you do when you can’t sleep and got to go to work in the morning?” My answer was flippant, but yet in line with the rest of the answers, which were all good answers such as pray, read the bible, drink a hot glass of milk, take melatonin, meditate, take the next day off, try to sleep under the bed, etc etc. I said exercise, to work out real hard until you popped a sweat, then get a full body massage with hot oils, a home visit at about 7pm. Now in retrospect for me to advise that was in poor taste and It did received a couple of thumbs down. After I read it the next day I felt ashamed. Please allow me to redeem myself, I am sorry for being a smarty mouth, forgive me and here is my analysis on why it was good advice in poor taste.

Redemption

To assume everybody is in excellent shape and can work out profusely is a very poor assumption which would be an insult and a slap in the face to all of those who know not how to exercise or not able to, no desire to exercise, have not exercised in thier life, are ashamed to start now, don't know a exercise routine. However poor their health may be or whatever motive for not exercising they should be respected as human beings with feelings like everybody else. I am sorry, my intent is to help people, to heal the sick to give out appropriate helpful advice. So that all within the sound of my voice hear my words be lifted up not destroyed them. I am sorry and ask that you forgive me for shirking my God given duties.

Problem With Sleeping

A person such as myself, professional trained massage therapist who is considered to be the master masseur, a guru of massage, who has taught and trained thousands of others and to advise to a person who has a problem with sleeping, to get a massage is not only poor advice but foolish and maybe even dangerous. Even if a person was some what familiar with massage to suggest an unknown so called massage person, which could be a quack to come out to the home at 7pm to administer a hot oil massage is extremely reckless advice. I am ashamed of my myself to have said this. Here again I am a massage therapist and foolishly took leave of my senses, and assumed everybody knew what I know.

My Best Analytical Advise

Step 1. If you can't sleep when you need to search out within yourself what can the problem be? Then work to correct it. A temporary solution would be melatonin or a hot glass of whole with a tablespoon of honey.

Step 2. Take a hot soak in the tub with Epsom's salts to last at least 20 minutes.

Step 3. Deep breathing using the alternate nasal breathing method. Closing off one side of your nose with the thumb. Breathe in and blow you breath out through the other nostril.
